For today’s lesson, I decided to create a customer profile for a 20y.o. fashion student.
She is studying fashion design (womenswear in particular) and is wearing Marni, Vintage Miu Miu, vintage Versache and a skirt made by an independent Korean designer, whose name I (very unfortunately) couldn’t find. I would describe my customers style as experimental and avant-garde, yet simple and minimalist. Most of the items we can see on her are timeless basics. It’s also very gender-neutral and quite sustainable.
I found analyzing the customer’s preferences quite fun, so I went on to create a collection of pieces I found on the internet that I think she would really enjoy. All of them are very simple, but have a little bit of “spice”, whether it’s the material, fabric, or the silhouette.
After completing the profile for my main customer, I decided to try out my powers on other people I took pictures of. I experimented with guessing what’s in their bag, or what kind of social media content they prefer. Overall, one of my favorite lessons. I like knowing what people like to them give them what they never knew they even wanted.
