For my promotional statement, I imagined that my designs were a result of a collaboration with ASOS, an online shopping platform that is especially popular youth with interests similar to my client’s.
Here, I covered all the topics I considered worthy of mentioning: my inspiration for the project, the reference to the 1966 prosthetics, as well as sustainability. I imagined that 90% of the the garments are upcycled: from buttons to fabric to stitches – everything was made with sustainable materials, locally sourced and produced to minimize the carbon emission footprint.
