As a kid, I was always told that I came from a different planet, so I got really interested in space and studied it quite a lot in my free time. Today, when we went to the science museum, I was mesmerized by the space section. I’ve spent around two hours walking around, sketching, and reading about the exhibits.

The one piece that grabbed my attention, however, wasn’t a part of the space exhibition. It was a 1966 arm and leg prosthesis for children with thalidomide-induced abnormalities. I found it both scary and beautiful, so I want to do some more research on this piece and, perhaps, later use it for my final product.
